Interns:

R-1s will have three weeks of paid vacation. Vacation will be split, for the most part, into one 2-week block and one 1-week block. For most residents, one week of vacation will be during the week of Thanksgiving, Christmas, or the week of New Year's.

R-1s will also have a week of "Remote Study" during which there are no assigned clinical duties or conference duties. For graduating preliminary interns, the remote study week is generally granted during the last week of June.
