Consult Services
If you are on an inpatient consult service, there is no fixed rule on this, and it is ultimately up to your attending/fellow. Generally, holidays are treated as weekends, and we encourage the services to excuse the residents on holidays. However, if the service is busy, the fellow/attending may request you to come in.
