Housestaff Officer of Excellence

Chang_Panesso_MonicaCongrats to Monica Chang Panesso, the next Housestaff Officer of Excellence! Beyond her usual and dedicated self that many of us have come to know these last 2 1/2 years, she should be particularly recognized for her work in the VA MICU. Despite having a light service of her own, she exemplified what it means to be a team player. She made her own patient cards for patients on the other MICU teams. She didn't take more than her allotted 4 days off, and spent many days (without patients on her own service) helping care for the other critically ill patients in the MICU.
