The outpatient hybrid is a one (1) to two (2) week ambulator hybrid which features a wide array of different clinic half day experiences. Each resident will be assigned a clinic ribbon for the week which details which clinics you will attend. Each ribbon has a specific clinical focus (primary care, pre-operative medicine, sports medicine, health justice), however all clinics have a variety of experiences meant to enhance resident education in outpatient medicine. Please see QGenda for your most up-to-dates as clinic half days are adjusted based on clinic closures and schedules. You may be assigned to Jeopardy time during a half day of your ambulatory hybrid, however you will not be assigned to EROC or any other inpatient clinical duties during this time. The experience is Monday through Friday and there are no weekend requirements.

Please note that you may be assigned to a clinic called "PCIM" during the Outpatient Hybrid. This is not a regular PCIM block; rather, it's a space reserved for walk-in visits. You will be the designated provider who sees any walk ins or other urgent appointments.
