UTSW currently has 2 unique programs to aid residents seeking to pursue dedicated time for research while in residency. Participation in these programs may extend the length of residency by 1-2 years. Although there is some flexibility in the timing of the research year, the sooner you let us know that you might be interested in one of these programs, the better.

For more information about TARDIS or  UT-StARR, you can reach out to the research chief residents to discuss these options and see if the program might be a good fit.
